The following is an excerpt from the October 2002 conference program
KATRINA KRUSE Katrina Kruse is an avid diver and underwater photographer. Certified as a diver in 1991 she has participated in the Man in the Sea program, has gone ice diving, but primarily dives and photographs in the Puget Sound region. Her macro photography shows the beauty of marine animals as texture and design. Her photographs have been shown throughout the Seattle area and four of her pieces are in the Immunex Corporate Art Collection. Her work was first published in VIEWS Best of the Northwest in 2000 and will be included in the upcoming book as well. She received a Photographer of Merit award from the National Wildlife Federation and is a 2001 Artist Trust Grant recipient. She lives with her husband, dog, cats, and assorted fish and invertebrates in Duvall Washington. Her current favorite spot to dive is 3 Tree North in Burien -- home of the 6 gill sharks!
