Barbara has worked with research teams studying Orca, Humpback, Sperm, and Right whales as well as a number of dolphin species. She believes education is the most important aspect of her work and has initiated and participated in a variety of educational programs aimed at both adults and children. Her photographs and articles have appeared in numerous publications and she is currently the author of five books. The educational Resource Kit on The World of Whales is the realization of a long time dream.
